Dec 20, 2007 · The watch looks like it has 15 jewels. 13 jewel watches are jeweled on both ends of the pallet, escape wheel and 4th wheel. There could be some odd variants, but 13 jewel watches are almost all fully functional. There would be no point to two more jewels that were just on the top plate since you would need to jewel the barrel arbor for the 13th jewel.
