Nov 28, 2011 · your BEST option - is to take speech perks up to the one that allows you to invest in shops. There is a perk in there that will have every merchant in the game buy every type of item - thus allowing you to sell gems and potions and robes and such to everyone- including blacksmiths.

Belethors general goods has 750 gold and buys all items, good for selling jewelry and enchanted clothes to. Erindir in the Drunken Huntsman across from Warmaidens has 750 gold. I will usually buy ingots to give the merchants more gold so I can sell them more of my stuff, but not before smithing all of it to increase its value.

The quest is given by the Argonian jewelry vendor in the marketplace at Riften Besides that, just sell them unless you want them to make some particular piece of jewelry for enchanting. It's entirely cosmetic, though; an enchantment on a simple silver necklace is just as powerful as an enchantment on a super-expensive gold diamond amulet.
