Sep 26, 2007 · Ok start with your claws in the raw form. Best way I found to cut them off is frozen. Stick the paw in a vice and use a hacksaw. Make sure you cut the claw far enough back. Use a box cutter and slowly whittle them down.

Sep 27, 2007 · I simmered the whole paw in a pan of water with a tablespoon of Washing Soda added. I kept checking the paw and claws every ten minutes until I could remove them from the paw. I simmered again in fresh water with another tablespoon of soda added until the flesh still attached to the bone ends was softened.
