I didn't find the same necklace on pinterest, but found enough very similar pieces that showed me Betsey Johnson does use mixed metals, so the piece you have could very well be authentic. I'm pretty confident it's fake. The seller was from China. I paid $0.99 + $10.99 shipping. Although the item wasn't advertised as being Betsey Johnson, the seller had numerous other items claiming to be Betsey Johnson. And I received a tag (unattached) with no barcode or anything on the back anyways. It makes me very suspicious.

It may be made in the same factory that Betsey Johnson's jewelry is, but what they are selling at ridiculously cheap prices IS fake. They use leftover materials, copy designs, and who knows what else. And they list it all as "new" and "Betsey Johnson". The stuff may be new, but it is definitely not authentic!

The only way the betsey bag you bought at ross is fake is if someone bought a real one, switched the tags with a fake betsey bag, and returned it. And who in there right mind would go through all that for a bestey johnson bag. Plus, finding a fake would be hard enough on its own. let alone taking the time to buy, switch, return.
