Apr 13, 2017 · We just got back from Riviera Maya, we had an excursion in Playa Del Carmen for shopping which included a visit to Lapis jewelry factory etc. and as a gift for taking the tour, I got a so called "Pandora" bracelet and I could choose the color I wanted. My husband got a Mayan horoscope medalion color silver (but not the real thing) as a gift also.3/5(83)

I had a great experience with Lapis Jewelry! My boyfriend had bought me a ring while we were there. ... but this one was right in the Mayan Riviera right beside the Hacienda Tres Rios Resort. I have three pieces of jewerly from them. We first went to Lapis on a tour through our resort EDSS. My husband actually purchased a ring from Lapis for our 20th anniversary, they delivered it to our resort, when it did arrive we had a problem with the stone and they happily took care of it.

Apparently, this necklace was originally made by a small store close to Chichen Itza Mayan Pyramid, and now is being sold by this Lapis Jewelry. But there isn't a website anywhere. This necklace is absolutely stunning and completely real silver.

We had complementary ride to Lapis but had to get collectivo to go back to resort. It's in front of the jewelry factory. My hubby was looking for knock off rolex watches.

As always, it's caveat emptor, in Cancun or anywhere else; like ZZ, I've had multiple positive experiences with the folks at Lapis including purchases and while you wait jewelry repair. I've also had friends who bought several pieces of quality silver and jewelry products whose value was confirmed as higher than the Lapis price by professional jewelers at Philly's famed Jewelers Row and elsewhere.
