I feel the Mind's Eye aspect of the jewel is more effective, since you can ignore sharpness the whole time you're attacking, with the exception of the overcharged charge blade (actually the jewel is not as useful for CB since you can charge the sword to negate that problem and you will do that often).

Jan 31, 2018 · Mind’s Eye is very handy for weapons with low shapness like diablos or zorah weapons as it prevents bouncing. It can get annoying to get stuck in a bounce animation just as your sharpness drops, especially with low sharpness weapons.
