I like secured cards obviously. I was just pointing out that my jewelers club gives you a 5000 credit limit right away. That helps a lottt more than a 200 or 300 dollar one when building or rebuilding credit. As a credit expert I just wanted to give my 2 cents on the topic to my boxden buddies.

For my start in repairing, I used the Score simulator on CK to decide. Apparantly if I pay down the utilization by at least 1,000, my score will increase by around 83 points. Bringing my score around 650. Additionally, I was playing on using My Jewlers Club to increase my overall CL by $5k.
