Peter Nelson - Native American - Navajo Jewelry. Peter Nelson is an award winning Navajo artist. He recently took (3) First Place Ribbons at the Tribal Gathering in Gallup (2017). He took Second Place at 2016 Santa Fe Indian Market in Concho Belts. This is the first time he had bothered to enter in 16 years (last time he won also).

His painting teacher was Onalee Loloma, jewelry he learned from Skip Holbrook, and sculpture from Alan Houser. Peter has been a jeweler working in silver and gold for 30 years. Peter has a distinctive contemporary style of his own, using geometric designs reminiscent of Navajo rug patterns.
