I recently found jewelry gift boxes that have clear plastic lids. You could spend the money on a carrying case such as this: www.jewelrysupply.com/jewelry_displays/jewelry_carrying_cases.html and pin the necklaces down or put each necklace in its own gift box and then those can go into a rubbermaid tote. If the necklaces can handle it, they could each go into a zip loc bag.
