Jan 05, 2014 · Can you wear tapers as jewelry? I have tried to stretch from 12g to 10g 2 times and both times the taper goes through with a bit of stinging, but I can't get the plug in. So I am contemplating the next time I try in a couple weeks to just leave the taper in as jewelry for a while.

Mar 01, 2011 · Regardless of the size, you should never wear tapers as jewelry. Not just because it is uncomfortable, but since the shape of the tapers does not distribute weight evently, it will cause your lobes to thin in certain spots, resulting in uneven lobes.
