Apr 13, 2017 · We vivited the Lapis Jewelry Factory in the location near Playa Del Carmen. I had my current diamond reset in a ring there. There sold us a ring they said was 18 ct gold and high quality craftsmanship for $4000.00 US. They set my diamond in it and on the way home on the plane I saw my $12,000 diamond barely hanging in the setting.1/5(83)

As always, it's caveat emptor, in Cancun or anywhere else; like ZZ, I've had multiple positive experiences with the folks at Lapis including purchases and while you wait jewelry repair. I've also had friends who bought several pieces of quality silver and jewelry products whose value was confirmed as higher than the Lapis price by professional jewelers at Philly's famed Jewelers Row and elsewhere.

Apr 01, 2017 · My boyfriend and I wanted to venture into Playa del Carmen during our stay in Cancun. The price for a cab into town was $35-40 each way. Someone at the concierge suggested that we take the "free" shuttle offered by the Lapis Jewelry Factory. The only hitch was that we had to spend about 45 minutes visiting the factory and viewing their jewelry.4/5(83)

We were in Playa Del Carmen for Christmas and took a free shopping tour. It included a trip to the jewelry factory, tequila tasting (it was lame) and 5th Avenue shopping. The Jewelry Center was great! We bought 2 rings and a sculpture.
